JCI East Kowloon (JCIEK) is a non-profit institution and the 12th local chapter of JCI Hong Kong, established in 1980. As English is our official language, we bring together members from diverse backgrounds under a shared vision. This year’s theme, “Mission Possible,” reflects our unwavering belief that challenges can be transformed into opportunities—and that when we move forward together, we can push the limits of what we can achieve.

Throughout 2026, JCIEK has continued to strengthen member engagement and deepen our sense of community. “EK City Blueprint” (Developed by JCI East Kowloon)

Second half of 2026

To align with our mission of educating and inspiring, JCIEK introduced an innovative learning initiative: the “EK City Blueprint.” This is not just an event, but a five-year strategic roadmap designed to guide JCIEK’s educational direction and strengthen our long-term capacity to serve the community.

Second half of 2026

In 2026, we began the journey by launching the first segment of the blueprint: the ESG Board Game. The ESG Board Game is an ESG-themed city-building simulation that invites participants to work as a team while facing a series of challenges. Set in a model city, players assume roles such as economic companies, health organizations, environmental groups, NGOs, and government units. Each role is equipped with unique resources and responsibilities, which means no single participant can succeed alone. Cooperation becomes the foundation for progress—players must coordinate decisions, manage limited resources, and respond effectively to crises.

As the game unfolds, participants are guided to explore the interconnected nature of sustainable development. Through hands-on gameplay, players learn the value of resource management, crisis response, and teamwork, gaining a practical understanding of how complex it is to build a resilient and sustainable society. Importantly, the game provides an engaging entry point to ESG concepts for people who may not yet be familiar with the topic.

Second half of 2026

The ESG Board Game is designed to introduce basic ESG principles in an accessible and enjoyable way. By simulating real-world situations and encouraging collaborative problem-solving, the game shows how ESG frameworks support better decision-making in modern communities. Participants come away with deeper awareness of why ESG matters—not only for organizations, but for society as a whole.

Looking ahead, the EK City Blueprint will continue to evolve in the coming years. Next year, JCIEK plans to update the blueprint with additional and newly designed training programs tailored to members across different age groups. These initiatives aim to expand our reach, strengthen intergenerational participation, and attract younger generations to join JCIEK—ensuring that our mission continues to grow and remain relevant for the future.

Through these initiatives, JCIEK continues to demonstrate our commitment to community service, education, and innovation. We remain dedicated to creating meaningful impact within Hong Kong and beyond—transforming ideas into action, and turning shared goals into real community value.
