First half of 2026

On March 19, 2026, a landmark moment in international cooperation took place during the Global Talent Summit Week at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. JCI Hong Kong, China (JCIHK) officially entered into a Cooperation Agreement with Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE), marking a high-level strategic alliance designed to reshape the city’s professional landscape.

The signing ceremony was a high-profile affair, conducted under the watchful eyes of Mr. Chris Sun, Secretary for Labour and Welfare of the HKSAR Government, and Ms. Phan Ngoc Diem, JCI Vice President. The document was formally signed by Mr. Felix Chan, Director of Hong Kong Talent Engage, and Senator Daryl Lin, President of JCI Hong Kong, China. This high-level presence underscored the importance the government and international civic organizations place on securing Hong Kong’s future as a global talent magnet.

The scale of the event reflected its international significance. JCIHK invited a prestigious cohort of over 110 guests, including Consuls General and diplomatic representatives from more than 10 countries. Notably, the gathering included over 50 JCI international leaders who traveled from across the globe to witness the signing, signifying a collective commitment to cross-border professional mobility.

At the heart of this partnership is the utilization of JCI’s sprawling global network. With a presence in 114 countries and territories and a membership of over 150,000 young leaders, JCI provides an unparalleled pipeline for talent recruitment. By collaborating with HKTE, the partnership aims to promote global talent development and create a seamless interface between international professionals and the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

This collaboration is set to foster a thriving international youth talent ecosystem within Hong Kong. By empowering young professionals to seize cross-border opportunities and engage directly with established industry titans, the initiative helps bridge the gap between local ambition and global expertise. As Hong Kong continues to evolve as a "super-connector," this agreement serves as a vital engine for economic and professional growth. Ultimately, the partnership reinforces Hong Kong's position as a premier international talent hub, ensuring the city remains a competitive, vibrant, and welcoming destination for the world’s brightest minds. Through these joint efforts, JCIHK and HKTE are not just signing a contract; they are building a gateway for the next generation of global leadership.
