Trainer Mentorship Program 2026 - Kick-off Ceremony
The Trainer Mentorship Program 2026 (TMP), proudly presented by JCIHK's National Training and Development Commission (NTDC), aims to empower members by encouraging them to become impactful trainers. Becoming a trainer is not just about teaching others; it is a powerful way to develop essential leadership skills. Our initiative provides opportunities to enhance communication and confidence, develop emotional intelligence and coaching skills, improve problem-solving, and encourage continuous learning. Through this program, participants will master crucial learning outcomes, including presentation, facilitation, managing activities, and effective evaluation.
The TMP 2026 Kick-off Ceremony achieved significant success, bringing together passionate members dedicated to self-improvement and training excellence. Supported by the NTDC and an enthusiastic community, the gathering created a lively and vibrant atmosphere. Attendees were eager to learn training skills and tools, ready to design their own impactful sessions under the expert guidance of our Star Mentors.
The event was particularly energetic, with heartfelt thanks to our esteemed Guest Speakers: Dr. Keith Chau, Senior Consultant of the School of Professional Education and Executive Development of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU SPEED) and TMP 2026 Mentor, alongside Senator Kenneth Yu, 2023 National President and TMP 2026 Mentor. Their profound insights helped promote the true value of mentorship and raised awareness about the influence of effective training, inspiring our future leaders to step up and shine.
At the same time, a major highlight of the kick-off was the official announcement of the 15 Mentor and Mentee combinations. Adopting a dedicated one-to-two mentorship format, these groups will embark on an intensive, multi-month training journey. This structured, hands-on approach ensures that mentees receive focused guidance to cultivate their potential and become exceptional trainers in the future.
