Strengthening global bonds

International Affairs: JCI Hong Kong, China Strengthens Global Bonds Under Theme “ONE for ALL” JCI Hong Kong, China proudly launched 2026 with the inspiring theme “ONE for ALL”, reinforcing its reputation for world-class hospitality and international connections.

From the International Guests Welcome Dinner on 2 January to the Inaugural Ceremony on 3 January, followed by the JCI President Reception Dinner on 20 January and the JCI Vice President Reception Dinner on 18 March, the International Affairs Team welcomed more than 100 overseas delegates. Distinguished leaders included 2026 JCI World President Senator Alejandra Castillo, JCI Executive Vice President Senator Ben Mak, JCI Vice President Senator Phan Ngoc Diem, the JCI Board of Directors, and National Presidents from across the globe.

These celebrations marked milestones of unity and growth, with new members inducted by National President Senator Daryl Lin in the presence of JCI President Castillo. From airport greetings to sightseeing tours, Welcome Dinners, International Nights, and the Inaugural Ceremony, JCIHK showcased its signature hospitality and shared the Hong Kong story with the world.

To prepare members as world-class hosts, the National International Affairs Commission organized the IA Protocol and Reception Workshop on 18 December 2025, led by 2017 National President Senator Anthony Leung. With 50 participants, the workshop provided training in diplomacy and international etiquette. Special thanks go to Commission Chairman Steven Chow, Vice Chairman Winnie Kwan, and the IA Ambassadors for their coordination and support.

Beyond hosting, JCI Hong Kong International Affairs team collaborated with the National Mainland Affairs Team to welcome over 50 overseas participants—including JCI Vice President Phan Ngoc Diem—for the 2026 International Exchange Tour to the Global Talent Summit – Hong Kong and Greater Bay Area (17–22 March). Members engaged with global leaders, explored innovative ventures, and highlighted Hong Kong’s role in the GBA.

The National Foreign Affairs Commission also coordinated overseas delegations to Macao, Hsinchu, Kyoto, and Indonesia for inaugural ceremonies, strengthening friendships and collaborations across borders. Appreciation goes to Commission Chairman Senator Yukki Wong and Vice Chairman Wing Cheung for their leadership.

Together, these initiatives demonstrate how International Affairs empower members—by connecting them with overseas delegates, nurturing diplomacy, and reinforcing the spirit of unity that defines JCI Hong Kong, China.

We extends heartfelt gratitude to the International Affairs Team led by National Executive Vice President Senator Calvin Chan, National Vice President Senator Yannes Wong, and National International Affairs Director Francis Leung. Their leadership and dedication have been instrumental in ensuring JCI Hong Kong continues to shine on the global stage in 2026.
